We had a nice relaxing evening once we got all of our household chores done.  We broke out the firepit out for the first time this year and made some smore's.  It was nice to just sit outside without the humidity and enjoy the evening, and I got to play with fire, so that is always fun...  The bugs finally drove us in so that was the only downside to it.

For those of you that remember, last year I tried to make some tomato cages and they didn't turn out so well and you all made fun of me.  Well I am back at it again this year.  You will all be happy to know I scrapped the saw horse style and am making more of a square.  I will post pictures when they are done, I just need to go to Menards and buy some 3/8" bolts to hold it together.

Well I finally got talked into doing it.  I joined Twitter today.  I'm still not sold on it, I still don't think that I am that interesting and its hard enough to keep making interesting posts here and on Facebook.  But I guess it could be interesting to read what everyone else writes on there...

Yeah, I haven't joined Twitter yet because, like you, I feel like my blog is enough. Interested to hear how it goes for you.

Well this last weekend I had my 10 year high school reunion.  It was good to get to see old friends again, some I hadn't seen in the 10 years since we graduated.  It was also good to see other friends that I had kept in touch with over the years.

Jamie's reunion is this weekend, but her class of 11 is just a little bit smaller than mine so that will be different, but it should still be a good time.

Here's to a great 10 years and to 10 more great ones...

So what's the point of having a limit on a credit card if they are going to authorize transactions past that amount and then charge a big fee and accrue interest??  Don't even try like the poor customer service rep (who's lucky he credited back the fees to my account) I talked to, to tell me it is exactly like what happens with your checking account at a bank.  I also do not believe that people keep sticky notes on their credit cards with the balance information just like you keep a check register!  I shouldn't be surprised credit card companies do this to make extra money, maybe I am the only one who didn't know this.  I guess there's no point to having this credit card with a low balance limit for online purchases, since they will authorize any amount.  I really should not post when I am frustrated :)
